“Together may we give our children the roots to grow and the wings to fly”

I’m a pediatric occupational therapist specializing in the remediation of the underlying causes of handwriting dysfunction for children of all ages and abilities. Underlying causes may include retained primitive reflexes, sensory processing issues, dyspraxia, dysgraphia, anxiety, visual-perceptual issues, or executive function delays.
I am passionate about helping each child recognize and apply their God given talents to become the best person they can be. You can trust that I will treat you and your child with respect, dignity and compassion in every interaction, while maintaining the highest standards for integrity and ethics. My therapy services are provided at my home office and I adhere to COVID sanitizing precautions as recommended by the CDC for all client areas. Being in my home office, I am able to provide exceptional privacy for clients, without the distractions and noise of a standard therapy clinic. My clients seem to enjoy the individualized attention in a comfortable, homey environment.
I am a pediatric occupational therapist with over 25 years experience, serving private clients in the Tampa Bay area. I received a Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy in 1994, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology in 1992. My OT career has included working in a variety of settings and with many age groups and types of disabilities. These include skilled nursing rehabilitation, home health care, acute care trauma center rehab, and serving school-based therapy needs in the homeschool community and a pediatric therapy clinic. I am also recently retired from homeschooling my 3 children for 11 years. I was drawn to the world of pediatric OT and sensory processing 20 years ago when my first child was born.
